“Sessions: ‘Lazy, Undisciplined’ Candidates Hurting Republican Party” – This seemed encouraging as I scanned the news headlines this morning.

This title seemed to mirror my thoughts and I anxiously clicked on to read the article.

Through the title of this article, Represenative Pete  Sessions seemed to understand the basic core reason for Republicans losing elections, and then suddenly realized that he was in a hurry to get somewhere and settled for “We lose when we have bad candidates.”

It’s true that a few local elections are lost because of bad candidates. And the last two presidential elections were lost because the Establishment Republicans, had enough majority to secure nominations for the two worst candidates in the field.

But mostly Republicans just don’t know how to campaign.

Candidates continue to spend millions on the same tired old advisors that insist they campaign moderately, convinced that this will bring the independent voters to their side.  – Always playing to “not lose” instead of just explaining the benefits of conservatism.

But the game has changed. It’s the low information voter that determines who wins or loses.

You find them in all groups: College students, women, minority, seniors, Christians, and welfare recipients.

Our society has been so dumbed down that a great many voters today only understand what is presented “simply” and triggers their “emotions”. – And then, they only get it when their minds have been saturated with it.

The low information voter is bored with politics, and long drawn out conversations won’t hold their attention. They don’t want to be bothered, and they don’t care about what is going on in the world.

But they still vote.

So you have to secure their vote using short bites that appeals to their comfort level.

Someone in the Republican leadership (Sessions would be a good pick) must be willing to step up and organize a “hit group” that can devise catch phrases that touches the comfort level of the low information voter — And then understand how to overcome the mainstream news media, and saturate their minds so that when they get to the polls they believe that unemployment IS 15% because of Democrat policies.

This is the real truth. Low information voters need to hear this.

Politicians should always insist on that number, and then be prepared to explain it.

Catch Phrase: College students are starting to realize that liberals stuck them with thousands dollars in student fees, and they have no job to go to.

Catch Phrase: Democrats have stolen Billons of dollars from seniors to help fund Obamacare.

Catch Phrase: African Americans are starting to look for policies that will give them a better life. And conservatives have those policies.

Catch Phrase: Even after years of liberals trying to convince women that conservatives want to rip the birth control out of their hands and put them in the kitchen, women continue to think for themselves.

Catch Phrase: Benghazi: People are starting to realize the president talks out of both sides of his mouth. And he’s been dishonest with all of us.

A Republican politician should never open his mouth without quoting a popular catch phrase. – If enough politicians quote the same catch phrases often enough, they WILL become popular.

This tactic can win the low information vote, but will also encourage some liberals to start thinking for themselves instead of playing by a set of rules that demands a mighty leap of faith, following a set of rules, no matter how illogical or absurd, must be obeyed unthinkingly and unquestioningly.

Perhaps one day the RNC will stagger into this knowledge and begin to organize, and offer their candidates seminars that will teach them how to saturate and overcome the mainstream news media . . .   how to campaign – and how not to.
